Awesome stuff!

i always love hearing strings used for more than classical stuff.BTW I've been playing viola for about 6 years now, can read treble if need be, and I have an ZOOM H2 recorder if you ever want some live strings. Got major respect for your music!

Vinstigator responds:

I'd love for you to play some live strings, that would be pretty cool. Anyway, thanks for the positive feedback!

Awesome

I love slavery...

Aninum responds:

Who doesn't?

Really pretty...

This is a nice change to all the Techno and Dance and Trance on Newgrounds right now. It really speaks to me. I guess that's partly because I play viola. If you ever need a violist, I've got six years of experience under my belt and a Zoom H2 Recorder =). Just send me a message!

P.S. I'm guessing this is live? Its just hard to tell because it sounds so perfect. And do you play any of the four instruments listed? Thanks!

Benesh responds:

Thank you !
And i will come back to your offer in some time ! =)
The instruments are all synthetic - i play the violin, but not long enough for some professional recording :P

Love this song!

lol I was about to say "Try adding some strings in with the melody!" but you already did that x) Bravo.

GeorgeRW1 responds:

Ty so much, But i'm so new at this!

The strings are a little obnoxious/don't fit...

but other then that its pretty good. Strong melody and a good beat!

superuberinsaneausm responds:

thanks i was trying to make a intro of some sort but guess i failed

Interesting...

I really like how the drums not over powering and the background pad really supports the piano. Although you say its sporadic, i think it works really well. After all, it IS ambient (which people don't seem to understand).

9/10
5/5

Kirbyfemur responds:

I tried to make it so the drums would stand out, but not just be the loudest thing. I wanted it to be rather subtle and calming to go along with the pad that is used. Thank you for the review. =3

Love the song title =D

I think its nice and fresh to hear something so unique, upbeat, and driving. The horns sound great and there's just the right mix of strings. Just something I would try doing just to see what it sounds like is backing up the horns with strings an octave up, not overpowering but just enough to be able to hear them. Just an idea =D

chrisrail responds:

Thanks dude! Props for the feedback!
I composed this track using software instruments in Garageband; so you're suggestion is feasible! I'm definitely going to have a listen with your feedback in mind. Been thinking about bringing every loop into Ableton Live for remastering (and possible remixing). In time though.. I've got a bunch of projects going on. Thanks again! You're the man, man!

Its good but...

I think it sounds really great but personally i think you need to figure out a better way to transition from the buzzy intro part to the more atmospheric part. Maybe a cross fade sort of thing. But other then that its really great! keep up the good work!

Phyortek responds:

I kinda rushed, a bit I suppose.
Thanks for the review :-)

Excellent!

With the first three notes i was sucked in!

MSXOmega responds:

That was the intention of them! :P
